The Korea Customs Service will hold its 15th Overseas Customs System Briefing on 25 August in Seoul and 27 August in Busan, for exporters and logistics industry professionals. Running since 2012, the event aims to prevent disputes arising during overseas customs clearance and to support export growth.
Customs attachés stationed in major trading partners — including the United States, China, the EU, Japan, Thailand, India, Vietnam and Indonesia — will brief attendees on each country's customs policy, changes in the clearance environment, and points companies should be aware of. The programme covers the latest developments such as tighter US import controls, the EU's new e-commerce clearance framework, and China's trade facilitation measures.
